As far as propulsive power goes, nitro RC helicopters are more powerful than their electric counterparts. With their powerful motors and powerful engines, they fly faster than their electric counterparts and are generally easier to maneuver. Also, nitro RC helicopters tend to fly much further than the nitro RC helicopters which is why many racers prefer to race in this particular mode. In addition to that, they are also considered safer than nitro RC helicopters and they are cheaper to maintain.
